But being a teacher during a pandemic, racial and social justice movements, and a divided nation presents unique challenges for teachers’ work and wellbeing. And, because teacher wellbeing is associated with student wellbeing and achievement, it is critical that schools take a systemic approach to ensure that their teachers are mentally and physically equipped to serve students and families. During this interactive and inspiring presentation, mental health and wellness expert, author, and speaker Dr. Tammy Lewis Wilborn will offer practical strategies that not only help teachers be well, but flourish.
